NFL player, Casey Fitzsimmons visits Townsend Elementary students

The crowd went wild as Casey Fitzsimmons entered the building. You would have thought we were in Ford Field in Detroit, but, instead we were in the Townsend High School Gym with students from kindergarten to 5th grade. Those kids were so very excited about the fact that a professional football player was going to be talking to them; the excitement was difficult to contain.

Daylight Savings Time begins March 9th

Tick, tock... tick, tock... don’t forget to set your clock!
Daylight Savings Time officially begins at 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, March, 9th. With the expanded Daylight Savings Time established by the Energy Policy Act of 2005, we now “enjoy” three more weeks of Daylight Savings Time. It begins on the second Sunday in March and ends on the first Sunday in November.

Gene was born July 6, 1949 to John and Agnes Berg in Ft. Totten, N.D
