United Methodist Youth Fellowship group went to Bozeman for a roller skating party last weekend. Rev. and Mrs. Sig Burch, Casey Johnson and Rose Pidde were the adult sponsors who accompanied the youths.
Keith Kirscher bowled in a tournament in Manhattan Saturday and Robin went along to watch.
50 YEARS AGO

Sheriff Jack Foster was in Fort Benton one day last week where he recovered $125 for a Broadwater county resident. The money was a down payment on an airline hostess course. The salesman for the course was in jail at Fort Benton following the sale of the course to a 72- year old lady of the area. It seems the company offering the course had an office on the west coast, but no school.
Mrs. Hattie Hargrove met with a painful accident in her home while getting ready to go fishing. We understand she fell and broke her collar bone, an arm and some ribs. She was taken to the Bozeman Hospital.

75 YEARS AGO

George Bridgewater came down from Ray Creek today to do some trading and visit his sister, County Superintendent, Mrs. Edith Fox.
Mrs. C.E. Howe arrived here the first of the week from Butte and will make Townsend her home for the next few months intending to take over the millinery department of the Townsend Mercantile Company.

100 YEARS AGO

A few friends spent a very pleasant evening with Mrs. C.B. Fairchild on Monday, in honor of Mrs. N.L. Cornelius who was her guest at the time.
Senator Muffly came down from Winston, Saturday and shook hands with old friends.
Miss Rena Schaaf is having a severe siege of mumps these days.
