Wedding Engagements


Lisa Heppner and Marc Beck announce their engagement and wedding planned for April 5 at American Lutheran Church in Billings.
Lisa is the daughter of Lawrence and Mary Lou Heppner of Westby.  She received her bachelor’s degree in English from MSU-Billings and is a software quality analyst for Dealerspan in Billings. 
Marc is the son of Jim and Darlene Beck of Townsend.  He received his bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Montana Tech in Butte and continued graduate work at MSU.  Marc is a computer software programmer for Computers Unlimited in Billings.
Olivia Ingersoll and Garth Vander Houwen of Seattle, Wash. have announced their engagement. A May 31, 2008 wedding is planned at the Mercer Island Beach Club near Seattle. The bride is the daughter of Jeff and Nanci Ingersoll of Phoenix, Ariz. and the granddaughter of Betty Shearer of Townsend.
She graduated from Broadwater High School in 1993, earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Education from the University of Montana in 1997 and 1999, and has a Master’s Degree in Education from Lesley University. She is a fifth grade teacher in the Mukilteo School District near Seattle.
The groom is the son of Boyd and Loma Vander Houwen of Mercer Island. He graduated from Mercer Island High School in 1995 and attended Western Washington University. He works at US Techs in Seattle.
Olivia’s engagement ring is designed with diamonds from the wedding rings of Garth’s grandmothers Elsie Vander Houwen of Mercer Island and Blanche Madsen of Plentywood.
