Mary Alice Hargrove

Mary Alice Hargrove, 84, of Townsend passed away April 19, 2008 at St. Peter’s Hospital, Helena. Mary was born November 4, 1923 to Charles and Mildred (Fisher) Hadcock at Helena.
After graduating from Broadwater County High School, Mary attended and graduated from St. John’s Nursing School in Helena. In 1944 Mary married 2nd Lt. Lowell Braum who died in a German POW Camp later that same year. Mary married Frank Thomas Hargrove in Townsend on March 15, 1946.
Mary was very dedicated to nursing, having worked over 40 years at the Broadwater Health Center. She enjoyed reading, sewing, gardening, needlepoint and golfing.
Her husband and her grandson, Tim Hargove, preceded her in death. She is survived by her son Mike (Terri) Hargrove, Houston, Texas, two daughters, Marilyn (Ron Banks) Roberts, Helena and Libby (Gary) Campbell, Townsend. She is also survived by her brother Al (Maude) Hadcock, Billings, four grandchildren, five great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial services were held Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at Connors Funeral Home. Graveside committal followed at Deep Creek Cemetery. Connors Funeral Home assisted the family with the services.

Carl F. Jones

Carl passed away at the age of 89 on Saturday, March 22, 2008 at Rocky Mountain Care Center in Helena.
He was born on October 2, 1918 in Beatrice Nebraska to Frances and Oscar Jones Carl enlisted into the Army 1942-1945 and received and Honorable Discharge.
He married Leona Odenbaugh and they had four children, Marlene, David, Carlene, and Randy Jones.
Carl worked many years as a welder, heavy equipment operator and mechanic. He lived many of his years in the Bozeman area. Then moved to Townsend in 2006 until his death. Carl was liked by everyone he met.
He loved to spend time with his friends, go fishing, and tell stories of the good old days.
He was preceded in death by his wife Leona and daughter Marlene and his parents.
Carl will be deeply missed by his children and grand children and many friends... No service is being held at this time.

March 1, 1995

Zachary Conklin

Zachary Conklin was born March 1, 1995, in Lancaster, Calif., and moved to Las Vegas, Nevada with his family six months later. He passed away April 18, 2008 at the age of 13.
Zachary demonstrated great strength and courage following a near-drowning incident when he was about 17 months old. During the remainder of his life, he fought a valiant fight while residing in several local care facilities. Zachary was loved and cared for by many through the years. He is survived by his mother, Dawn; his father, Jeremy; grandmothers, Lea Ann Townsley and Martha Conklin; his grandfather, Rich Townsley; two half-sisters; four half-brothers and his friends, Steven and Linda; and several aunts and uncles; Great- grandparents William and Joyce Cooper and Thelma Neese.
Services were previously held interment to follow at a later date.

Harry H. “Bing” Holling

Harry H. “Bing” Holling, 69, passed away on wednesday, April 16, 2008, at Kalispell Regional Medical Center in Kalispell.
Bing was preceded in death by his mother and father, Hazel and Fane Holling; brothers Don, Charlie (Chuck), Joe and a baby sister.
Bing is survived by his wife, Joan Holling of Kalispel; two sons, Brett and Brian Holling, both of Helena, two daughters, Shannon Stage of Missoula and Sherri Lindsay of Kalispell; and six grandchildren. Sister and brother in law, Myra and Jack Bridgewater, Patsy & Earl Thompson, Brother and Sister in law Larry and Connie Holling, Jerry and Betty Holling, Sister in law Eleanor Holling.
There are no services planned for Bing at this time, Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Home and Crematory is caring for Bing’s Family.
